Hey friends,
Hava Fridays made it to Friday. She’s on time, and we are taking the win.
This week has been full. Fifty is coming. My third anniversary is coming. Graduation happened last week. The kids were all home, which meant laughing, arguing, eating, moving through the house, and everyone being fully themselves under one roof.
It was loud. It was a lot. It was also wealth. Not polished. Not curated. Just alive.
Somewhere in the middle of all of that, I have also been spending a MASSIVE amount of time on the internet trying to build something that helps us break free from the internet. The irony is not lost on me.
As life goes on,I’m finding that the real premium lifestyle is subtraction. Not being seen everywhere. Not proving we are always available. Not turning every moment into something to post.

Time alone.

Time to think.

Time to pray.

Time with family.

Time to center down before the world starts asking for more.
A friend mentioned cod liver oil this week, and I smiled, because if you know, you know.
My grandmother used to keep it in the refrigerator for our daily medicine. We made faces. We swallowed it anyway. Nobody had a cute little wellness explanation for it. It was what somebody who loved you gave you because they believed it would help.
That kind of care has been on my mind. The old kind. The familiar kind. The kind that does not always taste sweet, but you recognize it.
That is what returning to myself has felt like lately.

One breath before work.

One breath when I come home.

Not a ritual.

Not a production.

Just enough to remember I am still here.

And somewhere in that pause, I keep asking:
What is already trying to begin?
The text. The walk. The sentence. The boundary.
Not a reinvention. Just remembering.

What is already trying to begin in you?
What if this week, you let it?

Love and rest,

Hava
